C-FIT Studio Success Stories

Meet Reagan

Meet Reagan! Reagan has been a part of the C-FIT Family for quite a while now, and is one of our younger members who has taken control of her mental and physical health in a way that has changed the trajectory of her life. It is an understatement to say how proud we are of her and are honored to showcase her to you!
Born and raised in Suffolk, she found her way to C-FIT via her father, who is also a part of our C-FIT family.
“Weight has always been an issue for me, but after being on a medication that made me gain over 30 pounds in a few months, I knew I needed some help to get rid of it.”

Since working with C-FIT, “I’ve seen changes both physically and mentally. Physically, I’ve seen weight loss of course, but I’m also gaining muscle. My body is changing in ways that I didn’t even know was possible. Mentally, I am such a better person. I can handle stress. I have less anxiety and depression. I sleep better at night. I am so thankful for all the help and support I’ve received while being here!”

Outside the studio, she says that she “can do more things without getting out of breath. I can go up and down steps without feeling like dying afterwards. I can carry so much heavy stuff that I impress myself. Like when I “farmer carried” two HUGE bags from Bath and Body Works filled with candles through the mall to the car.” This is a huge thing! We love helping people succeed in fitness goals, and when that translates into improving daily life, THAT’S where the gold is!

Reagan continues: “C-FIT is different from other gyms because it’s a tight knit family. Everyone is involved with everyone else. Walking into my training sessions with Jake, and Kent or Stacy asking me how I’m doing or why I wasn’t at at Spartan the previous weekend. Momma Connie texting me when I’m sick to ask me how I’m doing. Jess always keeping me in check and picking me up when I’m being negative. Jake kicking my butt and making me a healthier and happier person, one hour session at a time.”

For those new to exercise, she recommends they “take it slow. Don’t get discouraged when you don’t see change overnight; it’s a process that takes time. Don’t rely on the number on the scale – muscle “weighs more” than fat. (Plus you are so much more than the number on the scale anyways!)”

Reagan, we are so proud of you. One more question: would you recommend C-FIT to a friend?”100%. Every chance that I get I am raving about C-FIT.
