I know what you’re thinking. Tofu in a smoothie sounds strange, but hear us out.
Soybeans get a bad wrap, but much of the science touted against them just doesn’t stand up to modern studies. Soy is actually a very healthy protein option. That said, select good sources of soy that are organic and non-GMO.

BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen or raw blueberries (organic with the berries, y’all!)
1 banana
1 package SILKEN tofu
1 tbsp raw cacao powder — if desired (oh, yes, I desire it)
1 tbsp peanut butter — if desired (yes, this too please)
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk — if you want it thinner (I drink fast…)
1 tsp-tbsp honey — if you want it sweeter (I skip this)
Blend and enjoy.
