Meet Cindy. She’s a quiet rockstar that shows up with a smile, works hard, and isn’t afraid of challenging herself.
A Suffolk native, Cindy found her way to C-FIT by hearing about it from her friends. “I had wanted direction in what exercises to do, and to avoid, to prevent further osteoporosis or even to reverse it. In addition, I wanted to improve and preserve my general fitness. The friends had personal trainers and recommended C-FIT. I decided that if they could have personal trainers, then so could I!”
Since working at C-FIT, “I have increased in strength and stamina. In the second of my two Body Analyses, all items measured, including “body age,” went in the right direction! At 74, my body age was calculated to be 56! I have more confidence as I begin each physical exercise I am given.”
Outside the gym, “I am more often aware of posture and seek to carry mysef well. I am not as wary of lifting heavy objects, knowing that improved muscle stamina strength around bones gives them added support. My diet has changed as I learn more about proper nutrition. I feel good!”
“I am always interested to see what exercise routine David, my trainer, has scheduled for me. Each staff member expresses interest and, in conversation, is willing to offer advice in their area of expertise. I know that I have only scratched the surface thus far of what is available to me at C-FIT in fulfilling its stated mission.”
So Cindy; you’re doing so well! Any tips for the newbies?
“If at all possible, start with a trainer. The expertise provided to fit your individual needs will save much wasted time and resources as well as preventing possible injury to yourself. As you can, learn what is necessary for proper nutrition — and put it into practice. Your body will thank you.“
Would you recommend C-FIT to a friend?
“Definitely. I have not for one minute regretted my choice.”
